Informed Sports Certified

The Informed Sport program provides assurance that products have been tested for a wide range of substances prohibited in sport. Both our co-founders represented Great Britain at elite levels, Greg at two Olympics, Greg & James at World & European Championships... so they both understand and value the importance of products that have been banned substance tested.

Every batch of U Perform's signature collagen products is pre-market tested for banned substances under the Informed Sport program. Products undergo rigorous testing using ISO 17025 accredited methods to provide the highest level of assurance for athletes.

What does the Informed Sport badge represent?

TRUST because it shows that we are doing everything we can to ensure that the products that you use and love everyday are safe for use, free from banned substances and contamination of any kind.

TRANSPARENCY because it shows that we have taken care to ensure that what we say is on the label is in in the packet. But also, it ensures that we are selecting formulations with only the very best ingredients at the right dosages, handpicked for their efficacy, benefits and most importantly, value for money.

 

I'm not an elite athlete so why do I need Informed Sport products?

To us, Informed Sport testing and certification shouldn't be an added extra only for the 'elites' - we feel that it should be standard practice for ALL sports nutrition brands to ensure that we deliver quality products that are safe for use and that deliver real results, and at great value for money too. That's why we don't have a separate collagen range that isn't Informed Sport tested, or why we don't charge you any extra to recoup the cost of certification and ongoing testing as part of the Informed Sport programme.
